Congratulations on the Miracle of Birth!

Today we're celebrating the announcement that Katie Huneycutt, co-chair of Book 'Em North Carolina, and her husband James are expecting their first baby! The due date is early February 2013.

Thanks everyone! We are so thrilled about the little baby on the way! We have an ultrasound later this week, so hopefully we will be shouting pink or blue very soon!

My children used to give me this advice: Mom's should always (always!) have warm cookies ready after school. In my book, Avery's Battlefield, there's a recipe for Mrs. Mikesell's Molasses Cookies, from 1861. The last direction, an interesting piece of advice, is: "Keep the baby and the children out from the oven." Probably good advice even after 150 years. - Deanna Klingel

Ahhhh, did someone say Baby...Congratulations Katie and James and yes, you have my full permission to use Sir Charles Williams...or according to the top 20 baby names of the year "Jacob, Mason, William, Jayden, Noah, Michael, Ethan, Alexander, Aiden or Daniel" if it's a boy or "Sophia, Isabella, Emma (my moms name) Olivia, Ava, Emily, Abigail, Madison, Mia or Chloe if it's a girl...well, I know how you writers are, you always need choices...Congrats again...Big hugs & loves...Chuck...:)
